Polypak first opened in 1976 in a small office on Hastings and Cambie. Within a short time we became one of the major suppliers of packaging to retailers in Western Canada. Since then, we have expanded our products to service many different industries including insurance, dental, clothing manufacturing, food and beverage and ski resorts.

In 2023, Polypak partnered with another packaging company, Bags and Stuff, to offer a better range of packaging products and adapt to the changing market.
